We are planning to enter Vietnam next June. We are wondering if we can get visa on arrival at Hanoi airport or should we still have to go to Vietnam Embassy?

Currently, visa on arrival is available at Vietnam International airports: Noi Bai (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City), and Da Nang (Da nang city). Hence, people coming to Vietnam as foreigners can get visa on arrival at Vietnam airports. However, to get Vietnam visa on arrival, a Vietnam Visa approval letter should be obtained by yourselves prior to departing to Vietnam.

After 1 or 2 working days, a visa approval letter granted by Vietnam Immigration Department will be sent to your email as confirmed. Now you are ready to get Vietnam visa on arrival.
